Rush hour gently rouses me with twitter and chirp
Soon forced from sleep by squeals and honks more curt
Awake to see “kettling” pattern of commuters flow
While predators from floors above look down to prey below
Flighty sparrow joins hopping robin to sing me from my sleep
Gliding geese honk mornings call while landing sleek
Red topped fowl float V formation near the shore
While regal eagle swoops down to see then back to sky it soars
