Bayeux is near the coast in rural Normandy and has a long history of importance despite relatively small in size and population. And of course it has an impressive cathedral as big as the famous edifice in Paris – Notre Dame.
Our hotel is not quite as impressive, but dates back to days of revolution( including scars and marks)
Lots of character with old buildings and running mills
