The foods of Morocco

Though many foods are available to meet the needs of both vegetarians and carnivores, more often they are prepared in the Moroccan style – slow cooked in a tagene. When properly cooked the results are succulent and very tasty, Especially with the addition of local spices such coriander and cumin.

Ubiquitous Tagene

Much of our meals have been planned so we eat in locale communities or family homes. This allows us to enjoy more authentic menus while supporting these groups rather than large tourist venues.

We have passed many markets where they sell almost anything you need for daily life. Including of course foods of all types.
