West of Lagos

Relegated to land was not a hardship as we had spectacular views of the wind and sea sculpted shoreline. Over two days we trekked this craggy landscape, sometimes over …

And sometimes a little easier

And despite dire warnings of life threatening weather events…

Continuous weather warnings!

The sun shone down on us while we could see the threatening clouds just along the horizon.

Dark clouds in the horizon.

But our last day here hinted at the great conditions we might experience in summer or early fall. But for now we could enjoy the hike and gasp at the natural scenery. ENJOY!!!

Looking towards Lagos

And the views towards the west were just as awe inspiring..

Red and green highlights over blue water

And the views just keep on coming…

Returning home but thinking it might be good to have a return visit

A port in the sorm

Good to have some sun. It really makes the beautiful colours of the rocks come through.
