This was an emotional visit as you see the number of young Canadians lost, volunteers for the most part, during the days from June 6th, 1944 to the re-taking of Caen.

A visit to Juno Beach makes it hard to imagine what that day was like some 80 years past.

But there still remains evidence of what the young soldiers faced.
